I think that the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are one of the funniest books in the world. I recommend this book for new readers because it doesn't have that many hard words. The illustrations are great!

The Spiderwick Chronicles
This book was not great, but there were good parts in it. The book had many hard words in it & there were some creepy parts.

One of my friends recommended this book to me, and I thought it was really good. Its about a family that has magical powers, But it's perspective is a girl named Mibs. The book made me think about how cool it would be if I did have powers.
